  • 1 cup chicken ham, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups kale, chopped
  • 2 potatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  2. Sauté garlic in the leftover bacon fat.
  3. Add chicken ham, potatoes, and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  4. Add kale and cook until tender.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with chopped turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a lower calorie version, substitute heavy cream with milk.
