  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond milk, maple syrup, cornstarch, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Tear the bread into pieces and add to the mixture, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  4. If using, fold in chopped walnuts.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
