  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the batter and swirl with a knife.
  7. Sprinkle with nuts if using.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.
