Shrimp Limone with Pasta and Asparagus

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and asparagus to the skillet. Cook until shrimp is pink and asparagus is tender.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Toss in the cooked pasta and parsley.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
