Loaded Potato Soup

Indulge in a warm bowl of Loaded Potato Soup, a perfect blend of creamy potatoes, turkey bacon, and chicken ham.

  • 6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 strips turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and chicken broth to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  6. Using a potato masher, mash some of the potatoes for a creamy texture.
  7. Mix in the chicken ham and half of the crumbled bacon.
  8. Serve hot, topped with cheddar cheese, remaining bacon, and green onions.

Notes

  • For a healthier option, substitute heavy cream with milk.
  • Add more vegetables like corn or carrots for extra flavor.
