- 1 cup lentils
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 jar marinara sauce
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add the lentils, rice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the pan and mix well.
- Remove cabbage leaves carefully and blanch them in boiling water until soft.
- Fill each cabbage leaf with the lentil and rice mixture and roll tightly.
- Place the rolls in a baking dish and cover with marinara sauce.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add fresh herbs to the lentil mixture.
- You can use different types of sauce if preferred.
