  • 1 can (15 ounces) cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed and cut
  • 1 cup pasta (such as ditalini)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the carrots, celery, and zucchini, cooking until they begin to soften.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes and vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to a simmer and add the cannellini beans and green beans.
  6. Incorporate the pasta, oregano, and basil, cooking until the pasta is al dente.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.
