1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
4 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, onion, and garlic, cooking until the meat is browned and the onions are soft.
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add the broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10-12 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
