  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
