  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Cut the brioche bread into thick slices and arrange them in a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread slices, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Bake the French toast for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
