- 4 cups fresh corn kernels
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until soft.
- Add corn, chicken ham, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, butter, crumbled bacon, salt, pepper, and thyme. Heat through.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of bacon on top.
