  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic in the bacon drippings until soft.
  3. Add corn, chicken ham, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, butter, crumbled bacon, salt, pepper, and thyme. Heat through.
  6. Serve hot with a sprinkle of bacon on top.
