  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the softened butter and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, mix together baking soda, salt, and flour.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth.
  8. Pour half of the banana batter into a greased loaf pan, layer with the cream cheese mixture, and top with the remaining banana batter.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
