  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water with yeast and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a larger bowl, combine flour and salt. Mix in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  3. Let dough rise for about 1 hour, until it doubles in size.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and shape them into stick forms.
  6. Boil water in a large pot and briefly dip each pretzel stick into the boiling water.
  7. Place the dipped pretzels on a baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
