  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and milk.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  7. Pour half the batter into the dish, sprinkle with the cinnamon mixture, then top with the remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. For icing, mix powdered sugar with milk until smooth.
  10. Drizzle icing over the cake once cooled.
