- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into logs.
- Soak the potato logs in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each potato log in the flour mixture, then in beaten eggs, and back in the flour mixture.
