Cheesy Ranch Potatoes and Smoked Sausage

A delightful and hearty dish that combines cheesy ranch potatoes with smoked sausage for a fulfilling meal.

  • 3 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine diced potatoes, sliced sausage, ranch seasoning, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well coated.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
  5. Remove from the oven, uncover, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
