Cheeseburger Soup

A creamy and hearty cheeseburger soup made with turkey bacon for a healthier twist.

  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. Add the ground beef, onions, and garlic to the pot and cook until the beef is browned.
  3. Stir in the beef broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender.
  4. Add the cheddar cheese, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy.
  5. Serve hot, topped with crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, add hot sauce to taste.
