Carnitas (Mexican Slow Cooker Pulled Pork)

  • 4 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 oranges, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced

Instructions

  1. Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, oregano, and minced garlic.
  3. Add the quartered onion, orange juice, and lime juice.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender.
  5. Shred the pork with two forks and serve.
