Baked Chicken Parmesan

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast in egg, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Remove from oven and top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return to oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
