Air Fryer Gingersnap Cookies

These Air Fryer Gingersnap Cookies are an easy and deliciously spiced treat, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup additional sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  3. Add molasses and egg to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine.
  5. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
  7. Form small balls of dough and roll them in sugar.
  8. Place the cookie balls in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8-10 minutes.
  9. Let them cool before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, feel free to add a bit more ginger or cinnamon.
