- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup additional sugar for rolling
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add molasses and egg to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and combine.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C).
- Form small balls of dough and roll them in sugar.
- Place the cookie balls in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8-10 minutes.
- Let them cool before serving.
