  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, soy sauce, green onions, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, combine hoisin sauce, water, cornstarch, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the meatballs to the sauce and cook for about 10 minutes until fully cooked and coated in sauce.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chili flakes to the sauce.
